“Augmented/Words in the City” makes tweets to the city three-dimensional, Installation work installed at AR (Augmented Reality).
I walked around Shibuya and wrote down the words that came up to my mind. People come and go, cityscapes changing every moment. The building that was just the other day there is vanished without a trace.
The words that come up are also ephemeral and will probably been forgotten in a few days. The words in myself that are constantly transforming are two-dimensional information in characters, but by making it three-dimensional as a three-dimensional object, it becomes a monument that exists together with the city.
Are three-dimensional words really information or monuments? They keep drifting in the changing city with vague existence.
